The International Black Film Festival Nashville (IBBFN), in collaboration with Black Entertainment Television (BET), presents the “First Look” screening of the much anticipated original movie, “Gun Hill” (View Trailer), followed by a conversation with lead actor Larenz Tate, Writer/Director Reggie Rock Bythewood, BET Original Programming Executive Tamara Gregory, Composer Terence Blanchard and Music Supervisor Jabari Ali.
The event will be held at Regal Cinemas at Opry Mills in Nashville, TN on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a Mixer (Food & Drink, Patron VIP Suite & Red Carpet) with our special guests following the screening at the Filmhouse.

Writer/Director Reggie Rock Bythewood was a writer and supervising producer for the powerful 90’s TV drama “New York Undercover.” In addition, he wrote and directed “Biker Boyz” and “Dancing In September.”He penned the screenplay for Spike Lee’s “Get On the Bus” and he co-wrote, “Notorious.” Actor Larenz Tate, established his celebrity through his compelling and unforgettable roles in blockbusters such as “Love Jones”, “Ray”, “Menace to Society” & “Dead Presidents” just to name a few. Gun Hill makes its official television debut Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET. This high-powered cop drama tells the story of identical twins, Bird and Trane, played brilliantly by Tate. Trane is a cop, and Bird is a con. On one fateful night, Trane is killed. Bird assumes his identity and begins his own search for redemption. Set in the mean streets of New York, this smart, gritty, two-hour movie event features an ensemble cast of characters operating on all sides of the law, where no one or nothing is quite what it seems.
